Born in Essex, England, Hilary moved to Canada in 1987. With no formal art training she gradually developed the uniquely graphic style which has allowed her to work as a full time artist ever since.
Hilary uses opaque watercolour (Gouache) and India Ink for her Original Paintings and captures the vibrant mix of urban inhabitants and architectural stylings which give Vancouver it’s soul.
Hilary works out of her Granville Island studio at
1381 Railspur Alley, Vancouver, where more of her work can be seen.
